My stepdad's cancer treatments required more care than I could provide while teaching, and my private school position offered no leave options. I had to step away. Just months later, in fall 2022—two weeks into the new school year—he passed away. I found myself grieving, unemployed, and facing the monumental task of clearing 50+ years of belongings from my parents' home. From the outside, my life looked picture-perfect: a 35-year marriage, three wonderful adult children, beautiful grandchildren, and a successful teaching career. But inside, I felt lost and without direction.
That moment of crisis became my turning point. Through Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), I discovered something profound: my healing journey could become a bridge to help others.
